The Wisconsin State Fair runs August 6–16. Reunion is the other direction — under two miles east on Greenfield. Scratch-made food on an actual plate, air conditioning, free parking, and a whole upstairs of arcade to hand the kids while you sit down.

Eat first. Skip the line for a $14 corn dog.
All-you-care-to-eat brunch runs every Sunday, 10 to 1 — brunch only, no menu until it ends. The full menu returns at 1:30. Go in full and spend the fair money on rides instead.

Cold air, a booth, and somewhere to put the kids.
Kids eat free on Wednesdays and every kids' meal comes with a $5 arcade card — 5,000 square feet of games on the floor upstairs, while the adults sit still for forty minutes.

A real dinner, after a day of food on a stick.
Full scratch kitchen until 9, until 10 on Friday and Saturday, and until 8 on Sunday. Sand volleyball courts out back if nobody's done yet.

Fair week changes the streets around the park — gates run right-turn-only, and I-94 is under construction. Let your phone route you live instead of following a fixed set of turns.
